Alan Shadbolt originally set up as a builder some 25years ago. A surveyor by profession, he had worked for number of building and construction companies but always felt that not enough time was being paid to giving customers the kind of service they expected and deserved

For this reason a decision was made to keep the company to a manageable size where each client could be made to feel that they were the only client rather than just one in a long line of customers.

This philosophy allows us to respond quickly to customer needs and to accommodate their changing requirements. It also means that we are more than happy to attend to your minor maintenance and repairs as well as your major projects.

Today Greystoke still operates from an East London base to cover the whole of London and south Essex.

We are more than happy to advise clients on feasibility and design and to provide detailed or budget estimated, all of which are totally free of charge.

We can also offer architectural and design services and will, if required, submit application for planning and building control. These services can also be free of charge where we are employed to carry out the subsequent works.
